TOURNAMENT FORMAT

FLGPA Tournaments include both Amateur and Professional Golfers. Foremost among the events sponsored by the FLGPA is the FLGPA TOUR, which is open to Male and Female golfers 18 years of age and over by the date of the specified event. All Amateur golfers must have a valid USGA/GHIN handicap Index to qualify and particpate. Amateur Members are flighted based on handicap and compete with other members within their handicap index. Each flight has a gross winner. Each tournament will have a Low Gross Winner. All Professional winners will receive Cash and Amateur winners will receive vouchers in lieu of cash.

Optional Side Games:
there will be an optional skins game and closest-to-the-pin contest(s) that are conducted simultaneously with each FLGPA the tournament.

Gross Skins Game:
Each optional Gross Skins game has a $10 buy-in. Only birdies or better for each skin. A skin will be awarded to the player who has the lowest score below par on a hole when compared to scores from all others players that entered the skins contest. Any ties will result in no skin being awarded on that hole. The total number of skins awarded for all 18 holes will then be divided into the net collected funds to determine the dollar prize of each skin.

Closest-to-the-Pin:
Each optional Closie has a $10 buy-in. A Closie will be awarded to the player who records the closest ball to the hole on any par three. The total number of Closies will be divided into the net collected funds to determine the dollar prize of each Closie.

Tournaments are Scheduled throughout the year. We will post Tournaments as they are scheduled. Entry forms/fees for each tournament must be received one week prior to the scheduled tournament to be eligible to paricipate.. Please contact us at (386)742-6907 for your Tournament Entry Form.
